THE FATHER SEEKS WORSHIPERS
PART 1: THE FATHER SEEKS WORSHIPERS
PART 1:

John 4:21 Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father. 22 Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews. 23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshipers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. 24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

The one thing we know without a doubt is the Father seeks worshipers. We can be 100% sure this is right since it is Yashua speaking. It is only said once by him and has only two conditions, true worshipers worship in spirit and in truth. In a day and age when things are in total disarray and there is a great falling away from the truth these words seem hard to grasp by modern terms of religiosity for church leaders are seeking numbers rather than the face of God. Church leaders have sold themselves to the unscriptural doctrine of numbers over the commands of the Father. We have never been instructed to seek numbers and to keep counting the sheep. Our true focus is the Father who is seeking worshipers.

Our purpose is to bring the presence of the Lord into our midst. 1Chron.13:12 And David was afraid of God that day, saying, How shall I bring the ark of God home to me? What a great question in light of all those who are dying without the presences of God. Maybe we are not afraid of God anymore and think we can do anything we want in his sanctuary. The question is not how do we get more people in the church but how do we get the presence of the Lord in our midst? The very ark of God must be brought by the priest. Then David said, “None ought to carry the ark of God but the Levites: for them hath the LORD chosen to carry the ark of God, and to minister unto him for ever.” The ark represents the presence of the Lord. It is the responsibility of the priest to bring up the ark so the presence of the Lord will be in our midst. Without his presence we have nothing but an organization promoting a form of godliness but denying the power.

WE are the priest of the Lord and we are responsible to bring the presence of the Lord in our midst. Numbers are drawn by the presence of the Lord not by ideologies or strategic programs or modern day music. John 12:32 And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me Yashua came specifically to the earth to draw all men to him. This was spoken concerning his death which he accomplished on the cross. This one act made it possible for all men. This is what will draw all men. The message that lets all men know that Yeshua died for them is the beginning of all evangelism. But it does not stop here for No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day. John 6:44. If we hear this we realize that it is not our programs that draw men. It is the Father who seeks worshipers that draws men unto him. Then what of our programs? The Lord may bless our effort but we are not following on to know the Lord and to do what he requires. We seek his heart when we seek to do what is his desire. He seeks worshipers. Foremost in our hearts and minds is the desire to be his worshipers who worship in spirit and in truth. Thus we hear the prophet Isaiah tell us CEASE YE FROM MAN.

We hear the words of Peter, “But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light, 1Peter 2:9. There is a great work for us to accomplish on this earth. It is to show forth the praises of him. We are his worshipers because he called us out of darkness into his marvelous light. Can it be any clearer what we should be doing? Man are called and drawn by the Father and the Son through the power of the Holy Ghost. It would seem reasonable to line ourselves and our efforts to the process set by the Spirit to draw men. Priests bring the presence of the Lord through their worship and service unto the Lord. The presence of the Lord is maintained by their worship and service before the Lord. Foremost it is the desire of the Lord. If we seek first the kingdom then all these others things shall be added.

And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart, Praising God, and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved. Acts 2:46-47. This is God’s program. Daily seeking the Lord leads to the salvation of men. Praising God on a daily basis leads to his continued presence. The priest praise God daily. The Lord adds to the church such as should be saved. There seems to be some discrepancy between the present day programs of the church and those in the book of Acts. One is the Acts of the Apostles and today it is the acts of men trying to do God’s work for him. Church leaders have left the word of God and are serving tables. They are developing programs to draw men when men are drawn by the word of God. Acts 6:2 Then the twelve called the multitude of the disciples unto them, and said, It is not reason that we should leave the word of God, and serve tables.

Rev. 1:6 And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen. The word kings in this text is the same word translated royal in 1Peter 2:9 and may better be translated a kingdom of priests or he hath made us a royal priesthood UNTO GOD. It is to him the glory is directed. He made us for his purpose. He called us for himself. He called us to be worshipers. We are his priest responsible for his presence. This is so clearly depicted in the story about David’s Tabernacle. The phrases “minister to me, minister unto him” is a recurring theme and one well noted by those who seek to be worshipers of God. When the presence of the Lord was brought into the tent that David pitched a prayer is offered by David and in this prayer he says, “Give unto the LORD, ye kindreds of the people, give unto the LORD glory and strength.29 Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name: bring an offering, and come before him: worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.” In this Psalm 28-29 David repeated three times…” give unto the Lord”. We need only to change our mind and focus on the things that are expiatory and emphasis by the scriptures. Worship the Lord. He is restoring all things spoken by his prophets. Acts 3:21 Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began. It has already been mentioned the recurring theme in the scriptures concerning the duties of the priest to minister unto him. These scriptures lay out the pattern for us to follow. Our main responsibility is to minister unto the Lord.

1Chron 16:4 And he appointed certain of the Levites to minister before the ark of the LORD, and to record, and to thank and praise the LORD God of Israel:

1Chron 15:2 Then David said, None ought to carry the ark of God but the Levites: for them hath the LORD chosen to carry the ark of God, and to minister unto him for ever. 1Chron 6:48 Their brethren also the Levites were appointed unto all manner of service of the tabernacle of the house of God. 49 But Aaron and his sons offered upon the altar of the burnt offering, and on the altar of incense, and were appointed for all the work of the place most holy, and to make an atonement for Israel, according to all that Moses the servant of God had commanded. Ex 29:1 And this is the thing that thou shalt do unto them to hallow them, to minister unto me in the priest's office: Ex 29:44 I will sanctify also both Aaron and his sons, to minister to me in the priest's office. Ex 30:30 And thou shalt anoint Aaron and his sons, and consecrate them, that they may minister unto me in the priest's office.

Psalms 150:1 Praise ye the LORD. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power. 2 Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness. 3 Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp. 4 Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs. 5 Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the high sounding cymbals.6 Let every thing that hath breath praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD.
