Speak to the mountain and it “Shall be Moved!” Many years ago I asked a question: if you have faith the size of a grain of mustard seed...what does it mean that it can move a mountain. The reason I was asking is; there are mountains in this walk that seemingly have no answer and therefore what do you do?
Heb.3:15 While it is said, Today if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation. (Pressure; annoyance, irritation)
Before you say well of course...it is one thing to have knowledge of this and quiet a different thing to have the experience resonate within.
Luke 12:27 Consider the lilies how they grow: they toil not, they spin not; and yet I say unto you, that Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.28 If then God so clothe the grass, which is to day in the field, and to morrow is cast into the oven; how much more will he clothe you, O ye of little faith? 29 And seek not ye what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, neither be ye of doubtful mind. 30 For all these things do the nations of the world seek after: and your Father knoweth that ye have need of these things. 31 But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you. 32 Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom. 33 Sell that ye have, and give alms; provide yourselves bags which wax not old, a treasure in the heavens that faileth not, where no thief approacheth, neither moth corrupteth. 34 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also: 35 Let your loins be girded about, and your lights burning; 36 And ye yourselves like unto men that wait for their lord, when he will return from the wedding; that when he cometh and knocketh, they may open unto him immediately.
To truly inspire the fire I thought to share a few more verses that may establish a three fold chord, a deeper root...and maybe even reap the fruit of his peace in a deeper way.
Isa.1:18 Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.
Is 41:21 Produce your cause, saith the LORD; bring forth your strong reasons, saith the King of Jacob. WHY?????
2 Chron 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
Heb. 3:8 Harden not your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of temptation in the wilderness: Wilderness: a voice in the wilderness an unheeded advocate of reform (see Matt.3:3)
I do not know about you but I have had constant reason to ask for healing of late and yet there has been nothing but irritation, even a deep sense of wilderness. And certainly it has been a place of crying out for re-form... makes me think of the story of the butterfly kicking its way out of the cocoon... not a easy process yet what a gem when it flies free of the old habit-at.
Deut. 16:16 Three times in a year shall all thy males appear before the LORD thy God in the place which he shall choose; in the feast of unleavened bread, and in the feast of weeks, and in the feast of tabernacles: and they shall not appear before the LORD empty:
Reading this verse I am humbled and lead to a path of such peace knowing that truly I am not left empty. Yet speaking with a friend today whose husband is expected to die of leukemia...she said Joanne how do you do that. Not be all emotional and distracted in the midst...I answered her saying it is a choice.
Matt.6:24 No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.
Prov. 1:29 For that they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the LORD:
Prov. 3:31 Envy thou not the oppressor, and choose none of his ways.
In closing: I am sensing as in times past that this road we walk though unsure at times has a pattern...it is revealed by lamplight. Is your temple lit and if so can you here the cry of Isa.2:5 O house of Jacob, come ye, and let us walk in the light of the LORD. It is an old and trusted pattern...it worked for the prophets of old it still works today. He that has the ear to hear let him hear what the spirit is saying to the churches.
