NOAH: PART TWO NOAH: PART TWO

Gen. 7:1 And the LORD said unto Noah, Come thou and all thy house into the ark; for thee have I seen righteous before me in this generation…

Oh my, thee I have seen righteous before me. How did one man among many find such grace? What had he done to receive such salvation? Other than his birth there is no indication of his extraordinary display of righteousness. But he was born for such a time as this, before me in this generation. Gen 5:29 And he called his name Noah, saying, This same shall comfort us concerning our work and toil of our hands, because of the ground which the LORD hath cursed.

Can you hear these words? He shall comfort us concerning our work. Do you see? Noah would lead us into a rest that would help to alleviate our toil and stress. Have we learned that what we work and toil for out of the ground is cursed? All our works cannot bring us salvation for it is a gift lest any man should find a reason to boast of his cursed condition. Yet, from this place where the ground we stand on is cursed God made a plan to bring about a reverse. Oh, wretched man that I am who shall deliver me from this body (land) of death? Shall my hands that toil in the cursed soil find a place to (un) spoil the work I produce from a corrupted soul? No! Only by the washing of his word can I be made clean and delivered from the curse of death. You see the waters must cover the earth in order for the salvation of man to be completed. For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea. Hab 2:14. Yes, the earth was washed by the waters that covered it during the flood. It was the Ark that Noah built that eventually rested on top of the waters.

Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church, Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all. Eph 1:21-23. This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent. John. Do you see it? The Lord washed the earth and removed the curse. Man for centuries has lived under a curse, an illusion and a misconceived idea concerning God and the earth they live on. And the LORD smelled a sweet savour; and the LORD said in his heart, I will not again curse the ground any more for man's sake; for the imagination of man's heart is evil from his youth; neither will I again smite any more every thing living, as I have done. While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease. Gen 8:21-22

Since the earth was washed by the floods so was the curse. Yes, this story has a great mystery hidden within it. For it is not about the floods but about the hidden mysteries of God toward mankind. And God blessed Noah and his sons, and said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth. Gen. 9:1. The purpose of mankind is to replenish the earth and this we can do because of the marvelous work of God reconciling the world unto himself. To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. 2 Cor 5:19 Man thinks God is working against them. But God has done and is doing and will continue to do all that is necessary to bring about his salvation. Who can resist such a plan as this?
