Gen. 6:8 But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD. This is a phrase that echoes from generation to generation. No words spoken reverberate like these through the scriptures for they are the essence of glory now and the glory to be revealed. The entire earth was about to be destroyed because of the evil yet one man remained under the watchful eye of the Lord and found grace. Scripture is not fulfilled unless you can hear the same words spoken to you. We have found grace in the eyes of the Lord. Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women. These are words to apply to our lives and to the collective members of the church. A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in pictures of silver. We are the apple of his eye made like unto him placed in the setting of salvation. And the LORD said unto Noah, Come thou and all thy house into the ark; for thee have I seen righteous before me in this generation; and now we are the generation made righteous before the Lord to save this generation. My lord said unto me, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.
The name Noah means rest and quiet. Here is a man who entered into the rest of God and his conversation was the salvation of the world. He was a savior and an ensample to us. By him we can see how we entered into a new and living way. He was given instruction to build an Ark with lower, second, and third stories shalt thou make it. Do you see that this ark is a story of our lives? Today we are this ark: spirit, soul and body. We are the place of refuge to all those who are without hope. Note this ship became a place of fellowship for the clean and the unclean. It is amazing that God thought it necessary to save the clean and the unclean. No one would have put creeping things into their yacht. Yet, this is a picture of our lives. We look at ourselves at time in disgust; our flaws often cross out the grace given to us from our Lord. But what God has cleansed call not common. God had to speak to Peter three times to get this point across. "Do not call anything impure that God has made clean."
It was never God’s intention for you to decide what is perfect. This is reserved for his eyes only. Now you are clean by the word spoken unto you. It is God who cleanses not us. What is his intention? He has made us the way we are in order to save the world. Just like the Noah’s Ark it was full of life in all its verity. And it is time to open the door and let this life come forth out of our fellowship with him. Three times the dove was sent out into the world. On the third time it did not return to the ark because there was dry ground. You see the dove is in the earth and we need to follow him. The power of the Holy Spirit has made a way for us to open our door and let the life out. We have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us. Did you know w the rain is gone, the flowers appear on the earth, the time of singing is here and the voice of the dove is heard in our land? The fig tree is bringing forth and vines bring an aroma so arise my love ones, my fair ones and come away for summer is here.
Luke 21:29 Behold the fig tree, and all the trees; 30 When they now shoot forth, ye see and know of your own selves that summer is now nigh at hand.
Song. 2:11 For, lo, the winter is past, the rain is over and gone; 12 The flowers appear on the earth; the time of the singing of birds is come, and the voice of the turtle is heard in our land; 13 The fig tree putteth forth her green figs, and the vines with the tender grape give a good smell. Arise, my love, my fair one, and come away.
2 Cor. 4:7 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.
Gen. 8:17 Bring forth with thee every living thing that is with thee, of all flesh, both of fowl, and of cattle, and of every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth; that they may breed abundantly in the earth, and be fruitful, and multiply upon the earth.
John 15:3 Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.
Acts 10:15 The voice spoke to him a second time, "Do not call anything impure that God has made clean."
Acts 10:15 And the voice spake unto him again the second time, What God hath cleansed, that call not thou common.
Luke 1:28 And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women.
Prov. 25:11 A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in pictures of silver.
